The best hangover cure could be working out?!?!

After a night out and a few too many drinks, the last thing you want to do is anything that involves getting out of bed. However, doctors have found that what you least want to do may actually be the best hangover cure: working out. A workout will help you sweat out the byproducts of drinking that cause you to feel yucky. Plus, the rush of endorphins after a workout will help get rid of that sluggish after-drinking feeling. Unfortunately, getting yourself from the bed to the gym after a night out with the girls is a lot harder than downing some aspirin, drinking lots of coffee and relying on a greasy breakfast to take the pain away. Most people wouldn't list a cab ride as one of their most enjoyable experiences, but that's because you haven't been in Mansoor Khalid's cab.

This 37-year-old New York City cab driver, who got his degree in electrical engineering in his native Pakistan, wants your cab experience to be a wonka-tastic good time.

The sign in his cab reads, “No eating or drinking inside this car. Except candies.” And he means it. The back dashboard of his cab is filled with candy and chocolate. He even lets you plug in your iPod and blast any kind of music you want – which can be accompanied by the cab's elaborate lighting system, complete with flashing blue, purple, and pink rays. AND if you finish all the candy in the car before you reach your destination, your ride is free! (Nobody has ever achieved this, but it's gotta be fun to try!) (Yahoo)

Mother’s Day is on Sunday, and if you’re still scrambling to find a present for Mom, kick it up a notch.

Here are some ideas that are cool (no more flowers and bubble bath!!)

• Cooling towel – If your mom exercises a lot or just spends a lot of summer days out doors, get her a cooling towel. This towel wicks the sweat away while cooling you down.
   
• A tablet or iPad – You might think that these kinds of things are just for kids, but  you’re wrong. Mom travels too and would probably like to throw this in her purse more than that old battered Mary Higgins Clark novel.
   
• Photo printer – Nobody loves looking at pictures more than mom. But she might prefer the classic hold-in-your-hand photos more than scrolling through your tiny phone. So get her a photo printer so you can pop your phone onto that doc and print out stuff for her to hang around the house.

Did you see the movie " Soul Surfer" with Dennis Quaid and Helen Hunt? The real life inspiration for the movie, is getting married!

Hawaii surfer Bethany Hamilton is getting married. She became an overnight sensation -- at age 13 -- by surviving a terrifying shark attack. The Tiger shark took a massive bite out of her surf board and swam away with her left arm. For the past decade, Bethany has been a role model.

But her amputation does pose one dilemma come the wedding day: Where does the diamond ring go?

On Bethany’s website, she describes her fiance -- Adam Dirks -- as an adventure-loving soul mate. (quote) “He is genuine, kind, fun, easy going, friendly to all, passionate for Christ and just a great guy over all …and he liked me too!”

In other news, Carrie Underwood will be taking over for Faith Hill on Sunday night football!

She will make her debut on September 8th when the Dallas Cowboys host the New York Giants. Underwood said in a statement. (quote) “I have always loved football, and it is so exciting to now become part of it every Sunday night!”
